Announcement date: October 6, 2026. Accutron has introduced its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, adding a high-frequency resonator movement and a quartz-based “master complication” platform alongside its established tuning-fork and electrostatic watches. The brand says the collection will reach authorized retailers and its website in October. This is a technical announcement rather than a prediction about demand or future value.
Two different approaches to precision
The new Elevation and Memphis 521 use Accutron’s three-prong resonator movement. According to the brand, its crystal runs at 262 kHz, eight times the frequency of conventional quartz, with claimed accuracy measured in seconds per year. The Canadian product pages identify the movement as NM33 “Precisionist”; that is a manufacturer specification, not an independent accuracy test. The Elevation uses a 39 mm 904L steel case, while the Memphis 521 revisits a compact, TV-shaped design.
The Horizon takes a different route. Accutron’s Canadian listing identifies its 6U73 movement as battery-powered quartz. It combines a chiming minute repeater, perpetual calendar specified through 2100, one-hour chronograph and moon phase in a 41.5 mm 904L steel case. Buyers drawn to the complication list should understand the movement type: this is not a mechanical grand-complication watch.
What the Canadian listings show
On Accutron’s Canadian site, Elevation reference 26A219 and Memphis 521 reference 26A216 are each listed at CA$1,995. Horizon reference 26C202 is listed at CA$2,995. These are brand-listed Canadian prices for specific references as checked October 7, 2026, and may change. For Canadian enthusiasts, the useful distinction is between the resonator’s stated precision and the Horizon’s concentration of calendar, chronograph and chiming functions. Neither description tells us how the watches will wear, perform over years of ownership, or trade on the secondary market. Compare the exact reference, movement, case size, warranty and Canadian price before treating any collection-wide announcement as a buying decision.
